ENGLISH VERSION
1.Introduction
QR Scanner & Generator is operated by Abu Talib Studio. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how advertising works, and your choices. By using the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. The app requires no account, no login, and no sign-up.
2.About QR Scanner & Generator
QR Scanner & Generator is a free utility app that lets you: scan QR codes and barcodes with your camera, read QR codes from gallery images, create QR codes for links, text, WiFi networks, phone numbers and contacts, share or save generated QR codes as images, and keep an on-device scan history. The app is supported by third-party advertising (Google AdMob).
3.Information We Collect
The app does NOT require an account and does NOT collect your name, phone number, email address, or precise location. Depending on how you use the app, the following may be accessed or processed.
3.1 Camera
Camera access is used only to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera frames are processed on your device to detect codes and are not sent to our servers.
3.2 Photos / Storage
If you choose to scan a QR code from a saved image or save a generated QR as an image, the app accesses the photos you select. We do not upload your photos anywhere.
3.3 Scan History (On-Device Only)
Your scan and generation history is stored locally on your own device only. It is never uploaded to our servers. You can view and permanently delete it from the History section of the app at any time.
3.4 Device Identifiers & Diagnostics
Our advertising partner (Google AdMob) and the operating system may process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate device information, and crash/diagnostic data to show ads, prevent fraud, and keep the app stable. See section 6 for details.
4.How We Use Information
Any accessed information is used only to: operate QR scanning and generation, read QR codes from images you select, keep your on-device history, show relevant advertising, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose crashes and improve stability, and respond to support requests.
5.Your History Stays With You
Because there is no account system, there is no server copy of your history. Clearing history inside the app permanently removes it from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored history.
6.Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app shows third-party ads provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob and its partners may collect and use: the device advertising ID, approximate device and network information, app interaction with ads, and coarse location inferred from IP address, in order to show and measure ads, personalize ads where permitted, and prevent invalid traffic. You can control ad personalization from your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android) and review Google’s policies and partner information on Google’s advertising transparency pages. If you do not agree with ad processing, please do not use the app.
7.Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not receive your camera images, photos, or scan history on our servers, so there is nothing of that kind to share. Information processed by Google AdMob for advertising is governed by Google’s privacy policy. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, protect user safety, or investigate fraud and abuse.
8.Data Security
Because scanning happens on your device and no account data is sent to us, the main privacy protection is architectural: your history never leaves your phone. Data transmitted for advertising is protected with HTTPS/TLS where applicable. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
9.Data Retention
We do not store your scan history on any server, so there is no server retention. On-device history is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Advertising partners may retain data according to their own policies.
10.Children's Privacy
The app is a general-utility tool and is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws. Parents or guardians who believe a child has shared information inappropriately may contact us.
11.Your Choices
You can: deny or revoke camera permission (scanning will not work without it), avoid granting gallery access (gallery scanning will not work), reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, clear your history anytime inside the app, and uninstall the app to remove all local data.
12.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app, advertising, or legal changes. When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Storage
(Google AdMob)
Developer / Organization: Abu Talib Studio, Application: QR Scanner & Generator, Country: Bangladesh, Email: info@abutalibstudio.com
